The Jonard Tools patented and award-winning MS-6 mid span slitter is designed to open fiber Jackets and provide easy access to optical fibers in loose buffer tubes with 1.2 - 3.3 mm diameter. With 6 precision grooves to handle various cable sizes, the sleek ergonomic design allows you to open a fiber jacket or buffer tube without damaging the fiber. This tool is designed for use on OFS EZ-Bend 3.0 mm cable and works great on PPC semi-flex 3 mm cables. It also works on Corning's outdoor Altos loose tube, Microduct MiniXtend HD and MiniXtend cable with Binderless Fast-Access technology, OFS EZ-Bend 3.0 mm cables, and on their indoor/outdoor Freedom and LSZH loose tube cables having 1.4, 1.7, 2.5 mm buffer tubes.
